These innovative screws feature a coarse self-tapping thread with wings that ream out the timber, allowing maximum RPM without burning out. When the wings contact the metal, they break off to permit the thread to self-tap into the metal. The partially threaded design and case and core hardened carbon steel construction with zinc finish ensures reliable performance and corrosion resistance for construction applications.
