The TIMCO Self-Drilling Wing-Tip Steel to Timber Light Section Exterior Silver Screws are specifically designed to attach wood to metal (maximum 5mm thickness). These innovative screws feature a coarse self-tapping thread with wings that ream out the timber, allowing maximum RPM without burning out. When the wings hit the metal they break off to permit the thread to self-tap into the metal. The exterior plating provides reliable and durable corrosion resistance, tested to withstand 1,000 hours salt-spray. Includes driver bit for convenience.
