These zinc and yellow plated carbon steel screws are specifically designed to work efficiently in hardwood, chipboard, MDF, plastic and thin sheet metal while offering exceptional holding power. The double countersunk head reduces likelihood of shear and assists completion of countersinking, while the 40° deep single thread provides secure fixing with high pull-out resistance. Surface hardened up to 750 HV prevents torque shearing under load, and the single slash design reduces torque and likelihood of timber splitting when inserted close to edges.
