The HUNTA® Polished Chrome plated Bullet Bolt kit is a high-quality door security solution designed for use with bathroom turn/release mechanisms. The kit’s primary purpose is for securing doors, and it includes a 76mm bullet-shaped bolt that provides a dead lock function when engaged. The bolt is constructed from a steel/zinc mix, ensuring both durability and reliability. The polished chrome finish gives a sleek, modern appearance. Included in the kit is a black plastic box keep for the bolt, a non-handed design that allows installation on either left or right-hand doors, and fixing screws for easy installation. The key measurements indicate a 57mm backset, installed with a 25mm spade bit (not included). The kit is optimized for door latch and privacy setups, with additional components suited for 5mm sized spindles or followers. The single-fixed forend is designed to match the bullet bolt’s aesthetic, providing a consistent look. Both round and rectangular strike keeps are available, which are ideal for different door setups. Despite its robustness, the kit is not certified to EN12209 standards.
