The HUNTA® Nickel plated 76mm Tubular Latch kit is designed for secure door latching and includes a bolt-through configuration complemented with a box keep designed for a contract setting. The latch is manufactured with a 57mm backset and features a guided latch bolt for smooth operation. It also includes a plastic timber tidy to enhance the aesthetic finish of the installation. The non-handed design allows for versatile use on both left and right swinging doors. The kit’s components are made primarily of steel with some parts in aluminum, ensuring durability and strength. The latch is 76mm deep, with the casing measuring 18mm in height and 14mm in thickness, consistent with UK Tubular latch standards. The forend is square, single-fixed, with a height of 60mm, width of 25mm, and a thickness of 1mm. The keep type is a flat plate, and the latch bolt is constructed from zinc. The set is pierced for 38mm centers and comes with a plastic box keep. The latch is not reversible, and it does not include security screws for the case. Although it is not EN12209 certified, its high-quality build and materials make it suitable for various passage doors. The kit includes a follower made from zinc with a size of 8mm. The forend features a sleek, minimalist design, reflecting its function as a passage latch without locking capabilities.
