This kit contains a HUNTA® Antique Bronze 76mm Tubular Latch complete with box keep designed for passage doors, meaning they allow doors to latch without locking. The latch features an elegant Antique Bronze (ABR) finish, conveying a classic, vintage appearance. The latch and accompanying components are certified and fire rated, with UKCA, CE Marking and Certifire approval, meeting EN12209:2003 Cycle and Durability tests and EN-1634-1 Fire Testing for FD30-60 fire-rated doors. An intumescent kit is required to comply with the certification when installing, ensuring enhanced fire resistance. This product is suitable for bolt through fixings with 32-38mm centres and includes a plastic timber tidy enhancing the finish when installed. The zinc-made latch bolt and follower ensure durability and smooth operation, although it is noted that the latch is not reversible and not suitable for unsprung furniture. The keep has a flat plate design, and the forend of the latch has a single, fixed, square style with dimensions aligned with standard UK tubular latches.
