This authentic blacksmith-made thumblatch features a decorative design with a thumb-shaped lever that operates a through-bar mechanism. Hammered into shape from mild steel using traditional anvil and fire manufacturing methods, this robust latch set comes with a durable black finish that provides excellent corrosion resistance. Suitable for doors up to 55mm thick, the set includes stainless steel wood screws for installation. The black baked finish offers an attractive contrast against both stained and painted timber.
