The Fire and Acoustic Seals Fire Rated Intumescent and Acoustic Acrylic Sealant is a halogen-free, polymer emulsion based sealant that provides excellent fire protection by swelling when subjected to temperatures exceeding 125°C to form a char coat that restricts smoke and fire passage. This white acrylic sealant offers 12.5% flexibility, excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates, and dries to a smooth, paintable finish that won’t harden or crack. Extensively tested and Certifire approved (CF5840), it’s ideal for fire rated cladding, doors, and walls applications.
