The EUROSPEC® door security bolt is designed for contract applications and is sometimes referred to as a Rack Bolt. The bolt is mortised inside the door edge and can be locked or unlocked using a separate splined key or a fixed splined turn, both of which need to be ordered separately. It features an internal sawtooth rack mechanism, which allows the spline on the key to engage with the rack teeth, creating a smooth gearing action to operate the bolt. The unit is electro-brassed and includes a 5-year mechanical guarantee. It’s suitable for domestic, industrial, and commercial environments.
