The EUROSPEC® esurf 37db drop down seal is a 730mm long surface-mounted seal designed to be installed at the bottom of doors for sealing when the door is closed. It is also known as a dropseal. Activated by the closing action of the door, this dropseal provides a clear and flat threshold without the need for high fixed thresholds. Tested without threshold plates and directly on carpets, it effectively acts as a barrier against external climate conditions, noise, light, fire, smoke, and insects. It provides a cost-effective solution for compliance with parts E and M of the UK’s latest building regulations, addressing disability access and energy conservation.
