The EUROSPEC® esurf 37db Drop Down Seal is designed for the bottom of doors, commonly known as dropseals. The mechanical seal is activated by the closing action of the door, dropping down to seal only when the door is closed. This design leaves the threshold clear and flat, eliminating the need for high fixed thresholds. Tested without threshold plates and on carpet, it forms an effective barrier against outside climate, noise, light, fire, smoke, and insects. It provides a cost-effective solution for part E and M of the latest UK building regulations, which relate to disability access and energy conservation.
