The EUROSPEC® esurf 37db drop-down seal is designed to provide an efficient and cost-effective solution to maintain a clear and flat threshold while effectively sealing the bottom of doors. Suitable for a range of applications, these drop-down seals, also known as dropseals, are activated by the closing action of the door, sealing only when the door is closed. This makes them an effective barrier against external elements such as climate, noise, light, fire, smoke, and insects. These seals have been tested without the use of threshold plates, making them versatile for use on various surfaces, including carpets. Additionally, they meet parts E and M of the UK building regulations, addressing disability, access, and energy conservation requirements.
