The EUROSPEC® plus 51db drop down seal is a 930mm long mortice seal designed to provide a comprehensive sealing solution for the bottom of doors. This drop-down seal (also known as a dropseal) activates upon the closing action of the door, dropping down to seal only when the door is closed. This eliminates the need for high fixed thresholds, leaving the threshold area clear and flat. It has been tested both with and without threshold plates and performs effectively even on carpet. This seal forms an efficient barrier against the outside climate, noise, light, fire, smoke, and insects, making it a cost-effective solution for parts E and M of the latest UK building regulations related to disability, access, and energy conservation.
