The EUROSPEC® Plus 51db Drop Down Seal is a 730mm mortice-style drop seal designed for the bottom of doors, also known as dropseals. It is activated by the closing action of the door, dropping down to seal only when the door is closed, leaving the threshold clear and flat without the need for high fixed thresholds. This drop seal has been tested without threshold plates and directly down to carpet, forming an effective barrier against the outside climate, noise, light, fire, smoke, and insects. It provides a cost-effective solution for parts E and M of the latest UK building regulations, relating to disability access and energy conservation.
