The EUROSPEC® plus 51db drop down seal is a premium mortice-style drop seal designed to provide an effective barrier against noise, light, fire, smoke, and insects. Measuring 1030mm in length, this seal activates by the closing action of the door, dropping down to seal only when the door is closed. This mechanism leaves the threshold clear and flat, eliminating the need for high fixed thresholds. The drop down seal has been tested without threshold plates and can also be used directly on carpet, offering a cost-effective solution for compliance with parts E and M of the latest UK building regulations on disability, access, and energy conservation.
