The EUROSPEC® 102 x 76 x 3mm Rising Butt Hinge Right Hand version is used to aid doors to self-close in environments such as bathroom/toilet cubicles. As the door is opened, it rides up the spiral knuckle, raising the door. When released, the weight of the door combined with the bevel on the hinged joint typically causes the door to close by itself. Note that this action is not entirely reliable. These hinges are handed and available as either clockwise and anticlockwise types, with the clockwise version used where hinges are on the right of the door, opening towards you. Comes with a 10-year mechanical guarantee.
