The CARLISLE BRASS® Victorian lever privacy furniture is a polished chrome handle on a privacy backplate, part of the contract range. It features a plain rectangular backplate measuring 120mm x 40mm, and a Victorian style straight lever with a slight inward curve at the end that provides an added element of safety. The clean, simple lines of this classic handle convey a traditional heritage, making it both graceful and elegant. The privacy mechanism engages a cam within the handle assembly to lock the handle dead, unlike bathroom furniture which engages the deadbolt within a separate bathroom lock. This privacy furniture requires a separate mortice tubular latch rather than a bathroom lock.
