The CARLISLE BRASS® white 2.1 mtr. fire door seals are designed to close the gap between the fire door and frame in the event of a fire, thereby preventing the spread of smoke and hot gasses. These seals remain dormant until exposed to rising temperatures and pressures in a fire, at which point the high-performance intumescent core with intercalated graphite expands multidirectionally up to 10-15 times its original size to seal the gap and hold the fire door in place. The product is suitable for all domestic, commercial, and industrial use.
