The CARLISLE BRASS® white 2.1 mtr fire & smoke door seals s/a 20mm x 4mm (fs134) are designed to close the gap between the fire door and frame in the event of a fire, thereby preventing the spread of smoke and hot gases. These seals lay dormant for many years, activating only when exposed to rising temperatures and pressures in a fire situation. The high-performance intumescent core contains intercalated graphite that expands multi-directionally up to 10-15 times its original size, sealing the gap and holding the fire door in place. This product is Certifire approved, fire door rated, and smokeproof, making it suitable for all domestic, commercial, and industrial use. Comes with a 10-year mechanical guarantee.
