The CARLISLE BRASS® white 2.1 meter fire & smoke door seals s/a 10mm x 4mm are designed to close the gap between the fire door and frame in the event of a fire, thereby preventing the spread of smoke and hot gasses. Once installed, the seals can lay dormant for many years, only activating when exposed to rising temperatures and pressures in a fire situation. The Firestop intumescent core contains intercalated graphite, which, in a fire, expands multi-directionally up to 10-15 times its original size, sealing the gap and holding the fire door in place. Certified by Certifire and fire door rated, this product is smokeproof and comes with a 10-year mechanical guarantee. It is suitable for all domestic, commercial, and industrial use and offers reliable fire and smoke protection.
