The CARLISLE BRASS® cb250 fire door seal includes single plain strips that are designed to close the gap between the fire door and frame in the event of a fire, preventing the spread of smoke and hot gases. These intumescent door seals remain dormant for many years and activate when exposed to rising temperatures and pressures in a fire. The core contains intercalated graphite, which expands 10-15 times its original size to seal gaps and maintain the doors position, ensuring safety.
